Register Now for the 2026 Soil Science Australia National Conference
Early‑bird registrations are now open for the 2026 Soil Science Australia National Conference, to be held 1–5 November 2026 at the Pan Pacific Perth on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja in Boorloo (Perth). The event follows the Australian Soil Judging Competition, running 29–31 October 2026.

The conference is expected to draw more than 450 delegates from science, policy, industry, agriculture, mining, conservation, and community sectors—creating an unparalleled national forum focused on soil knowledge, innovation, and stewardship. 

Theme: “Common Ground: Soils for the Anthropocene”
This year’s theme, “Common Ground: Soils for the Anthropocene,” reflects the multidisciplinary expertise needed to responsibly manage soil systems in a rapidly changing world. Delegates will explore a diverse array of topics, including:

  • Soil stewardship and First Nations knowledge
  • Policy, planning, governance, and soil security
  • Soil processes, constraints and engineering
  • Regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, ecosystem services
  • Contamination challenges, including PFAS, pharmaceuticals and AMR
  • Climate resilience, natural capital and circular economy pathways

Call for Abstracts – Open Until 24 April 2026
Abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations are now open, closing 24 April 2026. A comprehensive submission guide is available on the conference website.
